I have read the Reticulum manual and of course the part on networks.

That initially blew my mind a bit. Then I started trying to think about how I would go

about building actual networks. And there are parts where I'm still unsure.

In any case I am thinking about both the physical and logical network to build a

complete, meaningful network.

Would you like to share some actual, existing and currently working Reticulum network

topologies along with their intents and purposes, in order to get some inspiration ?

And also, my specific case : how would you go about building a regional network with the

intent to provide public communication (at least LXMF / LXST) to anybody willing to join

the network in the area ? While maintaining a private network within it. And be connected

to the broader Reticulum network.

Is the concept of backbone similar to the Internet backbone ? If then what is a sensible

way to participate in the backbone and provide access to it to the regional network ?

Please don't just focus on one aspect, individual parts seem logic to me, that's the

whole system that I am struggling with :

On the physical side, I guess some long range wifi bridges with some local LoRa and the

TCP connections over existing Internet where we can't lay our own network would do.

On the logical side, I'm unsure where to place the boundary between private and public

network and what's the best way to connect to other networks, backbone or not.

I guess this is quite an involved question, or rather requires an involved answer. Feel

free to direct me to existing documents when relevant (I have read the manual though).
